This 1.84 hectare park is right on the water and there is access down to the beach
A staircase leads to the beach which has some sandy and rocky areas but offers stunning views
It’s best to visit during low tide
The park is part of Saanich’s Centennial Trails which was a project that started in 2003 to celebrate Saanich’s 2006 centennial
The project’s focus was to improve existing trail systems and establish new trail systems to reach all areas of Saanich
Lands
The District of Saanich lies within the territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples represented by the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations and the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples represented by the Tsartlip, Pauquachin, Tsawout, Tseycum and Malahat Nations.
