Queens' Park in Oak Bay offers scenic views of Mount Baker, interpretive signs, and a time capsule marking Oak Bay’s 100th anniversary

This park was renamed from Marina Park in 2002 to honour Queen Elizabeth II’s Golden Jubilee
The park is on the smaller side but it’s a great place to relax and enjoy the view of Mount Baker
You’ll also find some interpretive signs with information on local birds and a tribute to J. Fenwick Landsdowne, one of the world’s most foremost painters of birds
The park has a time capsule that was installed in 2006 for Oak Bay’s 100th anniversary and it will be opened in 2056 for Oak Bay’s 150th anniversary
The art installation in the park is called The Hunt and depicts a pack of steel wolves
