About
Denham Till Park is associated with long-time residents Frederick Denham Till and Dora Madeline Till
Frederick Till was born in England and was a commander in the Royal Navy and Madeline was a concert pianist
Frederick and Madeline immigrated to Canada in 1946 and Madeline became very involved in the Victoria music community as a music teacher
When Madeline passed away in 1972, she bequeathed the property to North Saanich to establish a public park and requested the fruit and nut trees be preserved
