Durrance Lake

Durrance Lake, nestled in Mount Work Regional Park, is the most accessible of the area's lakes and a year-round favorite for swimmers, anglers, and dog walkers, thanks to its flat surrounding trail and regularly stocked waters.

  • Located within Mount Work Regional Park, it’s the most accessible out of three lakes in the area

  • A favourite among swimmers, even in the winter (for a quick dip)

  • Get in some fly-fishing and catch trout and bass (the lake is stocked regularly)

  • A relatively flat trail surrounds the lake and it is a favourite with dog owners
