About
Goldie Park is classified as a neighbourhood park, it’s just under 1.5 hectares, and it’s located in Langford.
The park is comprised of three parcels, dedicated in 1980, 1988 and 1996. It was named after the adjacent street (Goldie Ave).
The playground was constructed with the help of the Kinsmen Club in 2000. It was renovated a few years back.
It’s more than just a playground. Nearby, you’ll find Goldie Trail that runs alongside Millstream Creek, leading to a distinctive riveted steel bridge spanning the creek.
Off to the left, a gravel path takes you into Millstream Creek Park.
There, a long boardwalk and a wooden footbridge provide a scenic way to cross the water.
