R.O. Bull Park is located in the Deep Cove area of North Saanich
The park is home to a stand of old-growth forest including Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, and Arbutus
The land was donated by the family of Col. Roland Osburne Bull (1895-1972)
After a successful business career in Toronto, Bull retired to Vancouver Island in 1957 and went on to found the Victoria Boys’ Club in 1960
Following his death, Roland Bull's dedication to the community and his passion for trees were honored with the acquisition of land for this park in 1977
