Phil Ross Park in Esquimalt is a small, peaceful green space with a winding trail through mature trees

About

  • Phil Ross Park is 0.2 hectares and was established in 1992

  • This park is named in honour of Reverend Philip Ross of the United Church, who served as a member of the Esquimalt Council from 1983 to 1990

  • A meandering trail weaves through a well-established grove of Garry oak, Grand fir, and Douglas fir trees

  • Two benches offer a spot for walkers to relax and take in the softly rolling landscape

  • Across the street is one of the entrances to Highrock Park

  • The park is accessible by foot from Old Esquimalt Road or Fernhill Road
