Centennial Park

About

  • This 18.42 hectare park was established in 1958 to commemorate B.C. becoming a Crown colony in 1858

  • It boasts many amenities from sports fields to a 2.3 km wooded walking trail (quite wide, very few tree roots and a couple of moderately steep sections)

  • The trails are a favourite for horseback riding

  • Some of the outdoor shelters/picnic table areas are able to be booked for events

  • The traditional territory of the Wsanec peoples, including the Tsartlip and Tsawout First Nations
