French Beach Provincial Park

Location

About

  • This park is on the Strait of Juan de Fuca (west coast of the island)

  • In the spring you can see grey whales on their way north and then again in the fall on their way back. You may even see a pod of orcas.

  • The beach is 1,600 metres and is mostly full of pebbles but sandier near the water

  • Camping is available with 69 sites (no showers or hook-ups)
