Oswald Park is 1.2 hectares and is located in the Hillside/Oaklands area of Victoria
A walking trail surrounds the park and another path goes through the park
It has a playground and a multi use sports court
Off to one side of the park is an off-leash dog area
Tree species in the park include broadleaf maple, sitka spruce, snowbell, linden, garry oak, and elm
The park also has a beautiful community garden
Sadly in 2023, one year after the garden opened, a fire occurred causing over $10,000 in damage
Very quickly, volunteers helped to restore it and it is once again a flourishing garden space
The garden features 26 allotments available for rent by community members, along with several shared growing spaces for the public to enjoy
